19 quarts and 36 pints of canned corn yesterday. Karl wrote about it.

I am pretty beat from yesterday but my kitchen is being taken over by garden produce. Tomorrow I will have to can tomatoes, and truthfully I should pickle cucumbers today.

These multicolored heirlooms are even more beautiful in jars.

I have two buckets like this of cucumbers. I want to make sweet relish but every recipe i can find asks for bell peppers. It is like canning books are part of a vast conspiracy to make everyone hate home canned food. I can't think of any other reason the recipes given are so vile.
